I took a solo tour of the university town of Groningen, in the north of Holland. This is a bike parking lot, double tiered. Mostly students.

The train station.

The Groningen Museum sits in the middle of a canal.

I saw the World Press Photo Expo - I didn't know that it was begun by a Dutch non-profit in 1955. After two hours of veiwing devastating news photos from 2004, I left... and for a while, I didn't want to be part of the human race.

Typical architecture.

Groningen's cathedral.

A cafe set in the external corner of the cathedral.

Modern and old.

Does it get any more Dutch?
