The Ijsselmeer is a shallow lake, about 1250 square kilometers. It was created when the Dutch closed an inland sea with a 32 kilometer dam/dike. Here we are sitting in our friends' new made-to-order boat that sleeps two and has everything including two fridges, indoor and outdoor showers, and the Internet, of course.

We celebrated the boat by cruising the fishing villages and drinking champagne onboard all afternoon.

Oh, captain... my captain! Ronnie's still got it happenin', hasn't he?
